The jewellery will suit various ear piercings as shown on our models. They are perfect for tragus piercings, helix, upper and forward cartilage piercings and in the traditional lobes. The piece includes a FLAT 14k gold flower ball with threaded backing (as shown) and this style is recommended for cartilage, tragus and helix jewellery as opposed to the butterfly backs.
6.5mm (1/4") fits an average helix or upper cartilage, and is the post length we use most commonly use. 5mm (3/16") fits a thin helix or upper cartilage. This length also works in the middle cartilage area. If a traditional ear stud sticks out from its backing in your lobe or helix, you wear a 5mm post.
